Frequently asked questions

Do my customers need to create accounts?
No. Customers fill in a simple booking form — name, email, ticket quantity. That's it. No logins, no passwords, no apps to download.
What if someone doesn't pay after booking?
Their booking is recorded in your admin panel with "unpaid" status. You can see who hasn't paid and follow up directly. You're in control — no automatic holds on capacity.
Can I run a raffle and an event at the same time?
Yes — one Kete Koha account covers both. Your admin panel has a Raffles section and an Events section. One login, one URL, both products.
Do I need a Charities Commission number?
No. The CC number is optional. If you have one, donation receipt text appears on the confirmation document. If you don't, it's simply left out.
Can I set a capacity limit?
Yes. Set your max capacity in the event settings. The public booking page shows a live counter and stops accepting bookings when you hit the limit.
Is Kete Koha NZ-built?
Yes. Built in New Zealand, for New Zealand community groups. Prices in NZD, support in NZ time, no weird overseas fees or payment complications.
